Idina Menzel announces release date for new album.
The Broadway star also shared new single "I See You"

Idina Menzel is dropping a fresh album, idina., on Sept. 23.
It includes the just-released single "I See You," which is an Adele-esque inspirational pop tune.
Menzel titled her fifth studio album idina., because she wanted “you to know me on a first-name basis,” she explained during her Facebook Live announcement late Thursday. "I poured my heart out and used my music as a place to kind of figure some things out. It’s a really personal album."
