Idris Elba and Matthew McConaughey had an epic 'Dark Tower' Twitter exchange

Back when Stephen King finished the final Dark Tower book in the original set of seven, Twitter was still a few years from becoming a thing.

Now that we live in a world of social media, though, loads of people are on it. Including, as it turns out, the Man in Black and the Gunslinger.

On Tuesday, Matthew McConaughey sent the following tweet to Idris Elba:

What followed was an exchange certain to send shivers down the spine of any self-respecting Stephen King fan:

Elba rounded off the whole exchange by sharing a poster for the upcoming Dark Tower movie.

Hell. Yes.
