'Individual-1' memes are everywhere after 'substantial' prison time suggested for Cohen

And Trump doesn't seem to get that he's Individual-1.

Grab your popcorn. Refill your tea. Individual-1 is getting meme'd.

Special Counsel Robert Mueller and federal prosecutors from the Southern District of New York filed separate memos giving their sentencing recommendations for Trump's former lawyer Michael Cohen. Manhattan prosecutors suggested "substantial" prison time of between roughly four and five years, while Mueller noted Cohen has been helpful to his investigation even though his crime was "serious."

Cohen pleaded guilty to tax evasion, bank fraud, and campaign finance violations in August, and last week pleaded guilty to lying to Congress. New York prosecutors have been handling the financial crimes while Mueller has been focused on the lying part. Cohen asked for no time behind bars because he's been so chummy with Mueller, and Mueller didn't give a suggested timeframe for his sentence.

And because Twitter is collectively a messy bitch who lives for drama, Twitter users jumped straight to reaction gifs.

The court documents from both Mueller's office and the federal prosecutors refer to someone called "Individual-1" who just happened to run an "ultimately successful campaign for President of the United States."

So ... we all know who that is.

Soon after the documents were released, Twitter users turned Individual-1 into a meme. According to the documents, Individual-1 and Cohen discussed contacting the Russian government.

Trump appears to be oblivious to the filings, though. On Friday he tweeted a self-congratulatory message and tossed a quick "Thank you!" into the void.

Seriously, though, someone told him that he's Individual-1 right?
