Though the Cleveland Indians blew a 3-1 lead and lost the 2016 World Series, Tribe second baseman Jason Kipnis has been killing it on social media this MLB offseason.

With weddings, trips to Puerto Rico and a big helping of humor, Kipnis' posts show he's put that rough loss behind him. After all, he and the Indians had three chances to seal the deal, but fell victim to the Chicago Cubs, who had fate, history and pretty much the whole universe on their side.

Here are a handful of Kipnis' best moments from the offseason, proving he's a super funny, relatable dude.

1. The time he celebrated 2017's arrival in a big way

This should be no surprise, considering how juiced Kipnis got during the World Series. He sprained an ankle celebrating the Indians' American League Championship Series victory, and rode a pseudo-chariot through the dugout after a big home run.

He knows how to party.

2. When he provided us with the ultimate weekend GIF

Though Kipnis didn't post this himself, his headfirst slide into home plate adds the perfect GIF to any digital collection.

3. When Kipnis' physique was godly

Kipnis has been posting lots of workout footage as well. It's easy to tell where that holy physique comes from.

4. When Kipnis realized he should stick to baseball

Golf isn't for everyone.

5. When he was all of us, single at a wedding

6. When his cab driver just couldn't get it right

7. When one of his biggest competitors got a whole lot better

The Boston Red Sox, one of the American League's top teams, acquired Chris Sale this offseason, turning Boston into a clear frontrunner, and perhaps the Indians' biggest threat in 2017.

8. Finally, when Kipnis made the greatest Nacho Libre reference ever

The Indians did some winter shopping, too, picking up slugger Edwin Encarnacion, who made the All-Star Game three times in the past four years. Rumors swirled about where Encarnacion would end up, but his new home in Cleveland arguably makes the Indians even better than they were in 2016.

Kipnis captured all of that in one GIF.
