Jay Z seems to be in a really good mood right now.

And why wouldn't he be. He's just been inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame, becoming the first hip hop artist to do so.

Jay hopped on Twitter Thursday night to thank those who've inspired him: Like golden age hip hop luminaries De La Soul, to '90s R&B stars like Lauryn Hill, and also modern rappers like Kendrick Lamar.

There's more than 80 artists he's thanked in his series of tweets.

Jay nearly forgot the Wu-Tang Clan. That would've caused a ruckus.

And the list goes on...

Jay's not drunk. He promises.

Then while shouting out to Barack Obama he posted a link to a Dropbox folder, which unfortunately doesn't lead to anything.

But after all, Obama gave his friend Jay such a great introduction as part of the Songwriters Hall of Fame presentation.

"Like all of you, I'm a fan. I've been listening to Jay since I was a young and hungry state senator ... so I'm pretty sure I'm still the only president to listen to Jay's music in the oval office," Obama said.

And like the rest of us, there's always too many people to thank.
