Jimmy Fallon, you adorable goofball. Like so many new viewers, the Tonight Show host has been spending his spare moments of 2016 catching up on Gilmore Girls to prepare for the show's Netflix revival. On Tuesday, Fallon listed his top four favorite characters, inviting viewers to do the same on Twitter.

He also added an "invisible five" to his list: Sookie St. James.

With so many rich, eclectic characters, how did people even choose? Popular choices include Paris, Kirk, Luke and Emily.

Some people found a useful loophole in Fallon's only rule: Rory and Lorelai can't be on the list.

Gilmore Girls and all of Fallon's favorites return on Nov. 25.
