Jimmy Kimmel blames 'Celebrity Apprentice' producer Mark Burnett for Donald Trump
NEW YORK -- It wouldn't be an awards show without Donald Trump jokes.
Host Jimmy Kimmel on Sunday used part of his monologue to blame television -- specifically Celebrity Apprentice producer Mark Burnett -- for Trump scoring the presidential nomination.
"Television can also tear us apart. I mean, if it wasn't for television would Donald Trump be running for president?" Kimmel said. "No, he would be at home rubbing up against his wife Malaria."

Yes, Kimmel did -- potentially accidentally? -- call Melania Trump Malaria.
He went on to specifically call out Burnett: "Thanks for coming from England to tear us all apart."
"Thanks to Mark Burnett, we don’t have to watch reality shows anymore, we are living in one," Kimmel added.
Kimmel also joked Burnett, who also produces The Voice, would pick Miley Cyrus and Cee-Lo Green (former judges on the reality singing competition show) for the Supreme Court vacancy.
"If Donald Trump gets elected and builds that wall, the first person we are throwing over it is Mark Burnett."
