John Boyega's post-Force Awakens life is filling up with plum roles.
The actor is joining the cast of Kathryn Bigelow's film about the 1967 Detroit Riots, with a script by longtime collaborator Mark Boal. It'll also be Bigelow's first film since Zero Dark Thirty in 2012.
Boyega's role is still under wraps for now, but he shared the news in a tweet with the hashtag #12thstreet, referring to the street where the riots began.
