John Green's new book is really happening, you guys. It's even got a new cover and everything.

Good Morning America has unveiled the first look at Turtles All the Way Down, the author's first novel in almost six years. It looks like it'll fit nicely alongside all the other John Green books already on your shelf.

Take a look:

Sadly, the cover doesn't feature any actual turtles, which means this is me right now.

To quote Michael Scott, now I'm gonna have to go online and look at turtles or else I'm gonna be off the whole day. Sorry, boss.

Okay, now that we've set things right, there is an actual explanation for the title. As GMA reported, "turtles all the way down" is "a philosophical joke that says the world is flat and we're all just on a giant turtle."

The plot of the novel involves a 16-year-old girl named Aza and her "most fearless friend, Daisy" as set out to track down a fugitive billionaire. Green has said it will be his "first attempt to write directly about the kind of mental illness that has affected my life since childhood," making it extra personal for him.

Green's book hits shelves in October.
