Justin Bieber just brought audience participation to the next level.

Bieber, who gave a few hot-footed fans the chance to dance with him on his Purpose tour, made another fan's dreams come true during a Thursday concert in San Jose, California.

One crucial difference: instead of dancing with Bieber, this fan put his hair in a tiny ponytail.

Video footage posted to Twitter shows the lucky fan onstage, tying up Bieber's hair with an orange hairband. Bieber's locks, while luscious, are not too long, so sweeping them into a ponytail is no easy task.

Biebs, potentially unaware that he has brought a teenage fan onstage instead of a professional hairstylist, is picky about the look and feel of his tiny, tiny ponytail.

He first deems the style "too tight," then wonders if his fan has created a "side ponytail." Luckily, these are only temporary stressors, and Bieber accepts his new hairstyle with gratitude.

The fan seems super chill about all of this, probably because she's meeting -- and hugging -- Justin Bieber.

Also, thousands of people are watching her.
