If you haven't yet voted in the presidential primaries yet, choose wisely -- your next president may eat pizza with a fork.

In New York on Wednesday, John Kasich was seen eating a big greasy slice of pizza with a fork. After being justly mocked by locals and reporters, Kasich switched to eating pizza with his hands. But it was too late.

The damage had already been done.

"Look, look, the pizza came scalding hot, OK? And so I use a little fork," he told Good Morning America

It's hard enough to watch a potential commander-in-chief of the armed forces eat pizza with a fork. But watching him eat pizza with, as he mentioned, a little fork poses a severe threat to our national security and self-esteem.

Kasich later tried to justify his actions. Excuses, excuses, bad joke.

"You know what? My wife who is on spring break with my daughters said, 'I'm proud of you. You finally learned how to use a utensil properly.' But I mean — not only did I eat the pizza, I had the hot sausage. It was fantastic," he said on Good Morning America.

Kasich isn't the only one who struggles with hand-pizza coordination. In 2011, Donald Trump came under fire for eating a pizza with a fork at Famous Famiglia, of all places.

Jon Stewart then turned the incident into one of his more legendary monologues. Out of tragedy, came great art.

Reporters also noted that even when Kasich switched to eating pizza with his hands, he failed to properly fold with slice.
