Kelly Marie Tran hugged a display of Finn's costume because of course she did
Star Wars: The Last Jedi actress Kelly Marie Tran continues to be a gift to the Star Wars universe, this time by hugging a display of Finn's (John Boyega) costume from TLJ as we all would in the same situation.
"Is it creepy to hug a display case containing your friend’s clothes?" Tran wrote in an Instagram post. "Asking for someone who does not understand social protocol in this situation."
Boyega himself commented "Love you and miss you xxxx," to which Tran responded with five read heart emoji and I responded with a loud "How DARE you" that drew considerable ire from my coworkers. But seriously, how dare they.
Tran made her debut in The Last Jedi as Rose Tico, and she is the first Asian American actress ever to appear in the series. Rose is part of the resistance and befriends Finn, and you'll find no spoilers here! Off-camera, she's been stealing hearts left and right with her sincere gratitude, raw humility, and eagerness to engage with fans.
