What do you get when you mix together Norwegian synthpop from the '80s with 2012 American rap? The answer is a surprisingly catchy tune.
Student Noah Charlick uploaded a mashup of the classic 1984 hit "Take On Me" by a-ha and "Backseat Freestyle" by rapper Kendrick Lamar. Since then, the video has gone viral.
"I’ve either made a great discovery or a terrible mistake," Charlick wrote as a caption for the video, which currently has 4,5 million views, 155,000 retweets, and over 400,000 likes.
