Kesha's return to the stage has been nothing short of triumphant. Her latest performance -- a cover of Lady Gaga's "Till It Happens To You," at a benefit for the Humane Society on Saturday night -- was a powerful statement.

“I want to dedicate this song to every man, woman, child and animal that has ever been abused,” Kesha said while introducing the song.

Lady Gaga, who is also a rape survivor, co-wrote the song for The Hunting Ground, a documentary about rape on college campuses.

Kesha is still tangled in a legal battle to negate her recording contract with producer Dr. Luke, whom she claims abused her. Lady Gaga has been a vocal ally during Kesha's struggle. Gaga tweeted her support of Kesha's performance.

Kesha called  the song, "such a vulnerable display of courage and hope" in an Instagram caption.

"Thank you both so much for bringing that message to the world in the form of such a beautiful song. It was an honor to perform it last night. We are so lucky to have you both," she continued. "With enough guts, strength and truth, WE CAN change the system. When women empower each other instead of tear each other down, we can f*cking change the world. The truth can't be stopped."
