Kim Kardashian has a very specific problem with free-to-play games
Kim Kardashian is not a fan of free-to-play video games that push in-game purchases to the point that they get in the way of having a good time.
In other words, she agrees with rational criticisms that are often leveled at free-to-play games. Kardashian has a game of her own -- Kim Kardashian: Hollywood -- that is quite popular, but it maintains its chill when it comes to selling virtual goods to players.
She'd like to see more games like that and fewer that hammer you with non-stop opportunities to buy, as she explained during a recent appearance on the Recode Decode podcast.

"We were on a long car ride, and we were so annoyed that everything kept popping up and popping up that our daughter would cry every time the game wouldn't finish playing," she said.
"She just wanted to seamlessly play."
Kardashian went on to say that she's fine with in-app purchases appearing "at the appropriate times" and "not an ad every two seconds popping up to where ... a two-year-old can't actually play a game."
