Warning: Spoilers from Season 6 Episode 2 everywhere beyond this point.

LONDON -- Obviously Jon Snow coming back to life was pretty much the worst kept secret in the history of television -- and to be fair, it was never going to be easy. Even so, the show's creators still had to make a good go of keeping it under wraps.

Kit Harington himself recently spoke to EW about the lengths he had to go to keep his identity veiled while filming Season 6. It turns out he even had a code name on set.

"No one was allowed to say 'Jon Snow' on set, ever," Harington told EW. "Everyone had to refer to me as LC."

LC stands for "Lord Commander," in case you were wondering.

Carice van Houten, who plays Snow's saviour Melisandre, apparently enjoyed messing with the anonymous Harington during filming.

During the scene in episode two where she has to wash his body, EW reports that Houten came up with an alternative nickname for Jon Snow.

They didn't specify what the nickname was -- only that it was a dirty one. Seeing as she used the same initials as the code name -- LC -- we could probably hazard a guess.

To be fair, she did bring him back to life, so we can't imagine Harington was too upset by her banter.
