Korn still exists and will tour with the 12-year-old son of Metallica's bassist, who has amazing hair
And so the nu-metal torch passes to another generation.
Korn, the band you listened to on a Discman while wearing JNCO jeans, hit South America next week for a tour. Their bassist, Fieldy, won't be able to make the trip.
So they've turned to 12-year-old Tye Trujillo to take his place.
A few things to know about this kid: He's son of Metallica bassist Robert Trujillo and he's much, much cooler than you. Here is father and son rocking out together.
“We are bummed Fieldy can’t join us on this run but excited to do a few gigs with a young player like Tye," Korn said on Facebook. "We look forward to welcoming our brother Fieldy back when we return to the States in May."
Tye is no amateur. He already plays in a band called The Helmets in Northern California. And fans are already swooning over his perfectly metal hair.
He even got some love from vogue.

Like father, like son. Lucky kid.
