LOS ANGELES -- Lady Gaga is opening up about the downsides of fame.

In a candid interview with CBS News, which aired Sunday, Gaga discussed everything from her break-up with Chicago Fire actor Taylor Kinney to shifting gears for her new album Joanne.

"I think women love very hard," the musician said of her break-up with Kinney. The duo ended their engagement in July after five years of being together.

"We love men," she continued. "We just love with everything we have. And sometimes I don't know that that love is met with the type of dignity that we wish it would be met with. You know, we're not trying to make you less of a man. We just want you to love us as deeply and as wholesomely and as fully as we love you."

The Golden Globe-winning American Horror Story actress also teared up when discussing how fame has affected her personal life.

"I miss people"

"I miss people," she said. "I miss, you know, going anywhere and meeting a random person and saying, 'Hi,' and having a conversation about life. I love people."

The artist briefly talked about her excitement for the Super Bowl halftime show in February.

"I always say, you gotta play a dive bar like you play an arena, and you play an arena like you play a dive bar," she said, noting that anything is possible during the performance.
