Across the world, from Australia to Amsterdam, landmarks were bathed in Turkey's national colors of red and white on Wednesday as cities stood in solidarity with Istanbul.

Attackers with suicide bombs killed 41 people and injured hundreds more on Tuesday at the city's Ataturk Airport.

After the attack, the hashtag #PrayForTurkey was trending as people on Twitter shared their condolences.
