Sometimes, just sometimes, life imitates art.

That's precisely what happened when Laura Dern posted a lovely #WomanCrushWednesday Instagram about her Last Jedi co-star Kelly Marie Tran. And, one of Dern's Big Little Lies co-stars had something to say—something that sounded like a line straight out of the show.

"What?! It’s Woman Crush Wednesday? As I choose mine, I find out it’s her birthday too?! @kellymarietran I worship you and your genuine bright light. Can’t wait to see you this weekend!!" wrote Dern.

Reese Witherspoon—who plays Madeline Martha Mackenzie in Big Little Lies—commented on the post that she loved Tran in Star Wars. But, she had another burning question. "I also need to know.... Who is taller, me or Kelly Marie Tran?"

Is that you, Madeline?

Dern picked up on the Madeline vibes and responded with a line reminiscent of her Big Little Lies character, Renata Klein.

"We don't focus on size in space. But remember this: Renata's on Earth and she'll be happy to discuss your height anytime," wrote Dern.

Well, that told you, Madeline.
