LeBron James: NBA Finals MVP, Sports Illustrated Sportsperson of the Year and ... Kendrick Lamar superfan.

The Cleveland Cavaliers star received his Sportsperson of the Year award on Monday night in Brooklyn, where rapper Kendrick Lamar treated the audience to a performance of "Untitled 07" from his latest release, untitled unmastered.

But James was the only person who seemed to care.

Here's James, vigorously rapping along to every word while the rest of the crowd sits still.

James has every reason to be amped though. After all, he was partially responsible for the surprise release of untitled unmastered.

The Cleveland Cavaliers star tweeted at Lamar's label in February, begging for more Kendrick.

A week later, untitled unmastered dropped.

Whether or not James' tweet had anything to do with the surprise release is uncertain, but one thing is for sure — King James dug it.

James — a vocal supporter of Hillary Clinton — also Instagrammed a clip of Lamar's hit "Alright" after Donald Trump became the president-elect. James is clearly a huge fan, and on a night he received one of the biggest honors in sports, King James looked the most stoked watching King Kendrick.
