Leslie Jones wants people to see 'Ghostbusters' before they call it racist
There was some backlash in the atmosphere when the first Ghostbusters reboot trailer dropped.
Many felt that having Leslie Jones, the one black actress co-starring in the film, play a transit worker who offers her particular set of skills to fight ghosts, is racist when her white co-stars play scientists.
Now Jones is busting the criticism in a series of tweets letting people know that she has no problem with that choice. She's also relieved that she and director Paul Feig made the movie, and not Twitter as a whole.
