Leslie Jones tweeting the Olympics got her invited to the games
This is the Rio Olympics, brought to you by Leslie. And now, they want bring her to the games.
Ghostbusters and SNL star Leslie Jones live tweeted every thrilling moment of the Olympics on August 7. And it got the attention of some of the big wigs behind the global compeition.
As Jones cheered on Team USA, including seeing swimmers Kaite Ledecky and Micheal Phelps both win gold medals, Jim Bell, executive producer of the NBC Olympics, loved reading along.

Let this be a lesson, kids. If you want an official invite to the Olympics, either get really good at a specific sport or just be hilarious on Twitter.

After what we're sure is some serious consideration, Jones tweeted a video saying that she decided to make the trip to Rio after the kind invitation.

"I'm going to Rio because we slay all day," she said. "USA!"
It's hard to argue with that.
