During his time in office, President Trump has been accused of bullying various people and media outlets on Twitter. But in Lindsay Lohan's eyes, Trump is the one who's being #bullied.

Days after the president tweeted doctored footage of a 2007 WWE broadcast to show himself wrestling Vince McMahon with a CNN logo covering his face, the actress came to his defense, tweeting a reminder that Trump is our president and he should be trusted.

Lohan replied with a positive message about Trump after a Twitter user attempted to shut down "crybabies at CNN" by sharing a Breitbart article that described Trump's pledge to help Charlie Gard, a critically ill British baby who the The European Court of Human Rights denied "experimental treatment" in the U.S.

"THIS IS our president. Stop #bullying him & start trusting him," she said, before thanking the Twitter user for supporting the United States.

Later that day Lohan responded to another pro-Trump tweet that included a photograph of the president hugging Indian Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, encouraging people not to speak poorly of the first family, or anyone, for that matter.

Several users applauded the actress for standing up for Trump and his family, commending her devotion to America.

However, others called Lohan's defense into question, even comparing Trump's behavior to Lohan's hit movie, Mean Girls.

It should also be noted that Trump made some seriously controversial comments about the actress back in 2004, which were recently dug up in Oct. 2016. The conversation with Trump on The Howard Stern Show showed his views of a then-18-year-old Lohan, calling her "deeply troubled and therefore great in bed."

Lohan's Freaky Friday co-star heavily condemned Trump's remarks, but judging from her recent tweets, it seems like Lohan just wants everyone to get along.
