If you were unable to get Black Panther tickets for opening night because of the pre-sale records, find solace in the fact that you are not alone.

Lupita Nyong'o, who happens to actually be in the film, didn't either. On Wednesday, the actress posted a video that she had filmed on Tuesday about the insane Fandango ticket numbers in the first 24 hours of availability for tickets.

"I was so excited....and then it occurred to me, I should get tickets too so I can be there when the movie hits theaters and I can experience it with everybody," she explained. "Fifteen minutes later, I kid you not, 15 minutes later I was trying to purchase tickets and they are sold out. Sold out! It told me that there was an error and I tried again—still the same error. Every time I tried, [there were] fewer seats!"

"I was unable to buy tickets for Black Panther opening night!" Nyong'o exclaimed. "That's insane!"

Some people admitted they bought multiple tickets, others commiserated with the actress, and some even invited her as their date to the opening night of the film.

Black Panther will hit theaters on Feb. 16, which gives Nyong'o plenty of time to craft a plan to sneak into a theater à la her Comic Con appearance last summer.
