Regal cat gets the custom royal oil painting she deserves

Cats are regal creatures and deserve only the best.

That's why Maccha, a sassy feline with a big Instagram following, has received her own royal painting. The art piece was created by the folks at Depicteur, which turns images into custom oil paintings.

"Maccha is a friend of ours here at Depicteur," a company representative told Mashable in an email. "Whenever we're hanging with her, she just saunters around and acts like she owns the place. So naturally we thought, let's do what we do and paint a glorious painting of this freakin regal cat."

Impressive as this likeness is, clearly Maccha is unenthused by the artwork. Perhaps the artist will have to go back to the literal drawing board on this one to please this kitty queen.

"I'm sure Maccha could care less and was wondering where her treats are," the Depicteur rep said. "But her owners love it!"
