One specialty store in Japan has decided to make a Magikarp version of the traditional fish-shaped taiyaki pancake.
Magikarp's appeal is, undoubtedly, super effective:

Kurikoan, which has chain outlets in Yokohama and Tokyo, had previously offered Magikarp as a short-term promotion in December last year, in line with a promotion for the incredibly weak Pokémon which included a super cute yet ridiculous song:
RocketNews24 translated the song: "Unreliable, pitiable, famously weak / Were you really strong a long time ago? Thats the rumour, but now you're really weak. Your weakness is so sad. / Weak Pokémon Koiking, you're the weakest in the world. / Weak Pokémon Koiking, your weakness is shocking"
Magikarp as taiyaki isn't a unique idea -- Amazon Japan sells a Magikarp mold -- but Kurikoan is a legit taiyaki specialist, so you should catch 'em while you can.
