Magikarp. It's been the perennial punchline throughout the Pokémon series, but the buck stops now.

It was thought that the Pokémon that's weak AF and can't do much more than a "splash" attack; but its (unofficial) Twitter account is pretty excellent at throwing shade to all the haters out there.

Take a dude on Twitter complaining of getting a Magikarp from an egg on Pokémon Go, after walking for 2 kilometres trying to hatch it. He got burnt. Hard.

Yeah, Magikarp on Twitter isn't too happy about those jokes you've been having at its expense. You'd better watch out when it evolves.

Also you shouldn't flinch when it comes to catching a Magikarp. It wants all your Pokéballs.

But maybe in the end, it's just a Pokémon that wasn't destined for greatness.

That's why there is a Japanese song dedicated to how useless the Pokémon is.

Useless, but loveable. Right?

It's good to see Magikarp standing up for itself, even if it can't actually stand.
