Here is an unlikely dog duo that'll brighten up your Instagram feed.

Moosh the 9-year-old malamute and 3-year-old dachshund Ginger are a so-called brother and sister who have been getting plenty of attention on their account @malamutemoosh

Owner Olivia Rogers, a recently graduated speech therapist from Adelaide, Australia, explained while the two might look adorable together, they battle like siblings usually do -- thanks to their conflicting personalities.

"They couldn't be more different. Ginger's a bit of a moll, basically," Rogers told Mashable Australia. "She's very cute ... but I think she's got small man syndrome."

"It's a bit of a love/hate relationship. [Ginger] winds him up, and all [Moosh] needs to do is look at her sideways and she'll run away."

Although they have their differences, video and images of the pair playing along pristine Australian beaches have proved to be immensely popular on the social media platform, with the @malamutemoosh account amassing more than 19,000 followers.

Not bad considering that the account was created for a bit of fun.

"Someone tagged [the account] on some animal page that had 700,000 followers, and since then he just kept getting shared," Rogers said.

Moosh the malamute also gets a big reaction when he's out and about, not just on social media.

"We take them for a walk on the beach and we've started to tally how many times we get stopped. It's just ridiculous," she said.

"They all want to pat him. I think people are scared of him at first, because he is quite big and he is quite intimidating, he is 51 kilograms (112 pounds). But then they meet him and realise how friendly he is."

How could one resist?
