LONDON -- Fair warning: If you're on the cusp of tucking in to your breakfast/lunch/dinner/absolutely anything edible, you might want to revisit this article after you've finished.

Jordan Morris is studying for a Creative Advertising degree at Bucks New University, UK. Morris and his creative partner, Liberty Papworth, recently came up with an unusual venture to fund their degree show.

The product description explains why Morris' beard could come in handy in a restaurant scenario.

Mashable reached out to Morris, who explained (in impressive detail) how he came up with the concept.

"Well Jord was laying on the floor one day in his room, and saw a glistening hair on the floor.

He picked it up, and noticed it was surrounded by loads of other hairs.

He thought to himself, 'bloody hell, I need to clean up'.

The next day, Jord went in to Lib and said, 'Can we finish early? I’ve got to clean up my room, there is shit loads of beard hairs on the floor.'

Lib replied, 'Don’t throw them away Jord, you could put them in meals, have free meals for the rest of your life.' Then we got talking about that, and thought it was pretty funny, decided we could put them on eBay. A lot of people thought it was a really funny idea, I think we pissed off a few Chefs on our way, with one in Australia texting Jord calling him a few names. But it’s a dog eat dog world, and this dog is hairy!"

The hairs are selling for £2.50 ($3.62) a pop. Morris said so far they've "sold a few."

UPDATE: May 17, 2016, 5 p.m. BST After Mashable published our story the product was removed and no longer promoted.
