Um, guys? Margot Robbie's performance as Harley Quinn is sartorially glorious. But her shorts keep getting changing lengths. They won't stay still!

The shorts should be famous only for their blatant disregard of colour matching, but are rumoured to have been photoshopped to varying lengths depending on just how accomodating specific countries are to upper thighs.

YouTube user BleedingCool has also pointed out that a Suicide Squad clip released during Comic Con last month differs to the identical shots found in the international trailer, shorts-wise.

Speaking with The New York Times Robbie has attested that the character wears the pants because they're "sparkly and fun" and not because she's craving the wandering eye of suitors or fellow dude crime fighters.

Ironic then that it would appear the exact opposite of thought process is taking place in post-production.

When asked by Nova if she knew anything about #ShortsGate, Robbie said, “I didn’t know about that … having been there on the day, they were very small — but wow, I wonder if they did?

“That would be extensive Photoshopping to do.”
