As a genius named Mariah Carey once tweeted, "shit happens."

That's pretty much the vibe of her slinky breakup single featuring YG, "I Don't."

Carey, who recently ended her engagement to Australian billionaire James Packer, sings about a relationship gone awry with a cool distance from the pain.

"But I'm tired of cryin', no more tears," she croons. "Pity party of the year."

Carey told fans she worked with Jermaine Dupri on the track in a totally normal Facebook Live lounging in fishnets and lingerie.

Her last album, which you should certainly remember was called Me. I Am Mariah...the Elusive Chanteuse, was released in 2014.
