Matt Ryan may have just made the greatest non-block in NFL history
Falcons running back Devonta Freeman was sweeping out left, Saints tackle Nick Fairley was bearing down to blast him and Matt Ryan stood between the two in position to make the perfect block.
Then the NFL star and Atlanta quarterback came to his senses. Which gives us this hilarious Vine, a clip that is relatable for anyone who's ever gotten in over their heads. (Thanks to Max Rappaport for recording it.)
You can't blame the guy, though. Ryan is Atlanta's franchise quarterback and an injury to him would be devastating for the team.

Colliding with Fairley -- who tips the scales at 308 pounds and had a full head of steam going -- may well have provided that injury. Ryan's bug-eyed reaction makes it all even funnier.
Then there's this: Perhaps because Ryan's flopping created an obstacle, Graham was still able to outpace Fairley and gain several more yards, making the play a win-win for Atlanta (who also won the game, 45-32).
And -- most of all -- it's a win for us, who get to giggle at the non-block over and over and over again.
