"Me too."

It's a simple, powerful call to arms, and the latest hashtag collating stories of sexual harassment and assault, posted by Hollywood actor Alyssa Milano.

Milano was one of the early responders to fellow Charmed co-star Rose McGowan's #WomenBoycottTwitter protest on Friday. The protest took place after McGowan was temporarily suspended from the platform amidst the Harvey Weinstein shitstorm.

Milano's now put her own hashtag experiment out there, asking people to reply to her tweet, or post on Facebook, if they've experienced sexual harassment or assault with a simple, "Me too."

Milano's tweet has garnered over 12,000 comments, the majority of which say "Me too," and have each generated their own thread of responses.

There are some Hollywood and Broadway names among the responses, including Anna Paquin, Debra Messing and Anika Noni Rose.

Twitter's Jack Dorsey promised changes to anti-harassment policies after #WomenBoycottTwitter on Friday. And while he didn't get into any specifics, he promised to address, "unwanted sexual advances, non-consensual nudity, hate symbols, violent groups, and tweets that glorifies violence."

Here's hoping, as Twitter has pledged to make improvements when it comes to stopping harassment on its platform before.
