Turns out Donald Trump isn't even the most popular Trump

Donald Trump loves poll numbers, huge crowds, and popularity rankings ... but something tells us he's not going to be a fan of CNN's latest stats.

A new poll from CNN shows that Melania Trump, not Donald, is actually the most popular adult Trump these days, ranking higher than her husband and soaring past other Trumps like Ivanka and her husband Jared Kushner.

Friday's CNN poll, which surveyed more than 1,000 adults in the past week, put Melania Trump at a 44 percent favorable rating and only 35 percent unfavorable. Meanwhile, the president is only at 41 percent favorable and 57 percent unfavorable.

Donald Trump has stopped tweeting poll numbers as his favorability has been weak, but he did acknowledge Melania's rising popularity last week at an address at Joint Base Andrews in Maryland. (This was the same event where they had that super awkward handshake moment.)

The president last posted about his approval numbers in August. Since then, he's switched his focus to poll numbers for the Alabama senator race.

CNN's poll confirms data from the past few months that Melania Trump's approval numbers have been rising. A Fox News poll from July saw her popularity improve as she emerged more into the public sphere. She had already trounced Trump in approval ratings back in March. This latest CNN poll only continues the trend in Melania's favor.

That said, while she may poll better than the rest of her family, Melania still has a way to go compared to other first ladies.

Overall though, the president is probably feeling better about how he's polling these days, too.

Trump's latest approval rating hit more than 40 percent, an increase likely attributed to his response to natural disasters like hurricanes Harvey and Irma. (FYI: That's still very low for a new president.)

But even with that bump, he probably doesn't like his own wife overshadowing his public opinion.
