LONDON -- Life as a mermaid sounds pretty swell. You get to chill in the water all day without a care in the world. And, if someone asks you to go to work, well...it's impossible. You're a mermaid.

The only thing is, it's sometimes nice to wander around on land some of the time, too.

Now you can have the best of both worlds with these eerily realistic mermaid tights, complete with faux glittery scales.

OK, so mermaids aren't actually real, but you can still dress like one.

The handmade mermaid tights are formed of nude 40 denier nylon tights covered with glitter and silicon scales. The scales come in an array of different colours, including pink, pearl, lilac and turquoise, to name a few.

But, you can also ask for a custom colour, if your favourite isn't listed.

The scales are flexible and bend with your thigh's movement too, which means you won't run into any mermaid-on-land movement difficulties.

They don't come cheap, however. The tights cost £48.92 ($71.82) plus shipping. So, you'd better get saving if you have your heart set on being a mermaid.
