Merriam-Webster's Twitter just threw so much shade, you won't ever need sunscreen again

Merriam-Webster's Twitter account is the hero we all need during this trying time in our country.

The dictionary's official account has pulled no punches in roasting the Trump administration on various occasions. It clapped back at Kellyanne Conway after she uttered the infamous phrase "alternative facts." It's called Trump out for the language he uses many a time.

And now, on the day when the House is voting on whether to replace Obamacare with the American Health Care Act, which the Congressional Budget Office claims will leave 24 million Americans without health care, Merriam-Webster has made the perfect choice for the word of the day.

The shade is so subtle, and yet so on-brand, that people immediately started applauding the tweet.

People also rallied behind the tweet because, let's be honest, a nightmare is exactly what we are living in right now.

Let's all stop and take a moment to give Merriam-Webster's Twitter account the standing ovation it deserves.
