2020 has been a long, strange, awful year. Thankfully, we're now reaching its tail end.

In case you missed — you know, since time seems to pass strangely during a global pandemic — Tuesday marked the beginning of December.

In honor of the year nearly being over, the folks over at GIPHY released their 25 most-viewed GIFs of 2020.

You'd expect the results to be pretty dark, considering the year, but GIPHY noted the top GIFs were kind of encouraging.

"Amid all of the craziness this year, love and thoughtfulness dominated the Top 25 Most-Viewed GIFs of 2020," the company wrote in a blog post.
