The MyPillow guy tweeted his company's official Twitter account into a permanent ban

MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell has pulled a Trump, taking his company's official Twitter account down with him in an attempt to evade his recent ban from the platform.

Lindell — a vocal supporter of the former president and his tiresome, destructive, baseless claims of widespread election fraud — was permanently suspended from Twitter last week for violating the civic integrity policy.

Following the ban, the verified corporate account for MyPillow posted multiple tweets in the first person, apparently from Lindell, attacking Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey and accusing him of being somehow complicit in Trump's election loss.

"Jack Dorsey is trying to cancel me (Mike Lindell) out!... Jack will be found out and should be put in prison when all is revealed!"

On Monday evening, CNN journalist Donie O'Sullivan noted that the @mypillowusa account was suspended.

A Twitter spokesperson confirmed to Mashable that the account "was permanently suspended for violating our ban evasion policy."

The move echoes Trump's attempts to evade his own suspension on similar grounds last month.

When Trump was banned permanently from Twitter in the wake of the Capitol insurrection, multiple Trumpworld accounts were also permanently suspended after clear attempts to allow him to use them as proxies. Accounts affected included the official @TeamTrump campaign account and that of his digital director Gary Coby.

Looks like MyPillow will have to promote both its products and baseless conspiracy theories on Parler from now on.
