Good news, Neil Gaiman fans: the author has agreed to do a live reading of the Cheesecake Factory menu in its entirety for charity.

Nope, you didn't misread that. Neil Gaiman — author of American Gods, The Sandman, Coraline, and countless other classics — will read the Cheesecake Factory's exhaustive menu, live, for all fans to enjoy.

It all started with this tweet from Twitter user Sara Benincasa.

The British author could not pass up the offer and replied.

And it looks like everyone is on board.

Now, the only thing left to do is actually meet the goal. Benicasa set up a Crowdrise page dedicated to raising $500,000 for the UNHCR, the United Nation’s refugee agency.

"FYI, the hashtag for this silliness is #neilcake. Why? Because it is silly and good," Benicasa wrote on the donation page.

At the time of this writing, she has only raised $5,541, just 1% of the overall goal. But granted Benicasa can raise the funds by June 20, World Refugee Day, Gaiman is going to grace us all with the most dramatic menu reading the internet has ever seen.
