Everything coming to Netflix in August

August is almost upon us, which means it's time to check out what movies and TV shows are coming to Netflix next month.

In terms of Netflix original TV, get ready for thriller series Clickbait, university-set comedy The Chair, and Paris Hilton's cooking show, Cooking with Paris. New movies include He's All That, the gender-swapped version of She's All That starring Addison Rae, and the finale of The Kissing Booth saga: The Kissing Booth 3. Fans of The Witcher can also look forward to The Witcher: Nightmare of the Wolf, an anime film that serves as a prequel to the live-action series.

Netflix is also adding all seasons of 30 Rock and Friday Night Lights to its library, as well as films like Inception, The Edge of Seventeen, and Ferris Bueller's Day Off. But that's only scratching the surface. Here's everything coming to Netflix in August 2021:

Top pick: The Chair

Netflix's upcoming comedy series The Chair stars Sandra Oh as Dr. Ji-Yoon Kim, new Chair of Pembroke University's English department, and the first woman of color to hold the position. Judging by the sneak peek (which prominently features the world's greatest nameplate) and the trailer, The Chair will send up the inner workings of elite universities and give Oh a chance to flex her comedic chops. Created by Amanda Peet and produced by Game of Thrones creators David Benioff and D.B. Weiss, The Chair also stars Holland Taylor, Jay Duplass, Nana Mensah, and Bob Balaban.

How to watch: The Chair begins streaming on Netflix August 20.
