It's time to tuck that rogue strand of hair behind your ear for garrulous talk about seasonal change, pumpkin spice whatnots gripped in your hand, ready to smash play on Season 1, episode 1 of Gilmore Girls for the umpteenth time. That's right, fall or autumn, whichever you prefer, is almost here.

While you're inevitably scrolling over to Amy Sherman-Palladino's fundamental fall favourite, just know there's plenty more coming to Netflix while you're there. In fact, the movies coming to Netflix this season are as big a deal as one of Emily Gilmore's home truths.

Netflix has announced its lineup of movies coming to the streaming platform for fall, from Wes Anderson's first ever short film The Wonderful Story of Henry Sugar to Pablo Larraín's vampire satire El Conde. There's George C. Wolfe's biopic of iconic activist Bayard Rustin, TIFF thriller Reptile, Roger Ross Williams' adaptation of Ibram X. Kendi's Stamped From the Beginning, David Fincher's version of graphic novel The Killer, and Zoya Akhtar's take on the teens of Riverdale.

There's Bradley Cooper's Leonard Bernstein biopic, Chloe Domont's Phoebe Dynevor-starring thriller Fair Play, the first part of Zack Snyder's Rebel Moon, Vanessa Caswill's adaptation of Jennifer E. And of course, there's Aardman's sequel to Chicken Run: Dawn of the Nugget.

Here's all the movies coming to Netflix from September to December. Settle in, it's blanket season.
