Brazilian soccer star Neymar and terrible flops are a combination that we can always expect when his team hits the pitch -- and he did not disappoint on Monday.

Neymar's penchant for exaggeration is almost as well known as his excellent play (when he stays upright, anyway).

Despite an early round dive that got plenty of attention, he topped himself during Brazil's knock-out match against Mexico on Monday.

Around the 71st minute, Mexico's Miguel Layun knocked Neymar down near sideline. As Neymar sat perturbed on the grass, Layun walked over and grabbed the ball to continue play and stepped on Neymar's ankle.

Dirty move, yes, but Neymar's reaction took it next level.

That's quite a bit of thrashing around! So how bad was Neymar hurt? So bad that just 15 minutes later he sprinted right in to help set up Brazil's second goal of the game.

Man, that magic soccer injury spray does wonders, huh?

Between that and Neymar's already stellar flopping reputation, Twitter didn't find it hard to mock the star.

Lucky for us, we have at least one more match in which to witness another classic Neymar flop as Brazil takes on the winner of Monday's Belgium vs Japan match on Friday.
