Nicki Minaj appears as a topless Cleopatra on cover of new album
Nicki Minaj has unveiled the cover of her forthcoming album, Queen, and she looks every inch the Queen of the Nile.
Minaj appears bedecked with sequins and beads sitting atop a wooden log. With nothing but sequin pasties covering her nipples, Minaj wears a distinctly Cleopatra-esque headdress and a beaded panty.
In the caption, Minaj described the album — which will drop on 10 August — as her "greatest work to date" and said the cover art was shot by the "legendary" fashion photographers Mert and Marcus.
"Thank you for your patience & love. Pre-Order next week w|my 2nd single 🎀," she wrote.
Yas, Queen.
