The U.S. government released a highly anticipated document today, and, perhaps unsurprisingly, the designated website couldn't handle the load.

The so-called Nunes Memo, a contentious document authored by House Intelligence Committee Chairman Devin Nunes' staff, alleges abuse of power by the F.B.I. in relation to its investigation into the Trump campaign's possible ties to the Russian government.

It was posted to a house.gov site early Friday morning, and, likely as a result of everyone on Twitter and in Washington, D.C., trying to access the site simultaneously, clicking the link brought the curious not to a sordid accounting of alleged abuse but an error message.
