Old footage of Adele playing for a 60-person audience is predictably delightful
In 2007, something amazing happened: real people saw an actual Adele concert at their local bar.
Yes, before she hit it big with 2008's "Hometown Glory" and "Chasing Pavements," the singer was playing more intimate shows -- including a 2007 gig at Buffalo Bar in Cardiff, Wales.
Extremely lucky YouTube user snoweybuda captured footage of the stripped-down set, which had an audience of only 60 people.

There's even footage of Adele singing "Hometown Glory" -- and it is glorious indeed.
As it turns out, Adele was blowing away listeners even before she hit it big. "An agent got in touch and said she was working with this singer who wanted to play a show in Cardiff," promoter John Rostron told Wales Online. "The songs we heard were good and her voice was fantastic, so we booked a show into Buffalo Bar."
