Women in lifestyle or health food commercials often seem to live in an alternate universe -- one where it's normal to roll out of bed looking immaculate, spend an hour doing yoga in your underwear and make a fancy breakfast before a full day's work.

A new spot from protein shake maker Organic Valley is a welcome reminder that nobody actually has time for all that.

After skewering those yogurt commercial tropes of impossibly perfect women, the brand delves into some more realistic portrayals of what professional women's mornings might look like. Spoilers: They involve a lot of dry shampoo, messy clothes and bleary-eyed groaning.

Organic Valley even claims to data to back up this drearier view: For instance, only 16% of women would describe their morning with the hashtag #blessed, the commercial says.

That stat and others cited come from a SoundView Research poll of 1,000 American women between the ages of 25 and 54 who work full time.

It may not be "aspirational," but at least it doesn't leave you wondering what you're doing wrong in life that you can't start each day "journalling in your journalling nook."

The 90-second spot is the work of Tennessee-based agency Humanaut, which also produced Organic Valley's hilarious "Save the Bros" campaign last year.
