Pizza delivery via canoe is the only way to get your takeout
LONDON -- Getting your pizza delivered by car or bike is perfectly fine.
But, there's now an infinitely cooler option: river delivery.
Domino's Pizza is trialling delivering pizzas via canoes to houses along the River Loose in Maidstone, Kent.

Residents who live along the river in the village of Loose can order pizza to their riverside doorway via a wetsuit-clad Domino’s Pizza "buoy".
In addition to the full wetsuit, the pizza "buoy" will also wear a lifejacket to make sure he's kept safe on his pizza delivering missions. As for the safety of the pizzas, the pizza boxes have been tested for "floating ability", and will be attached to a lifebuoy.
A spokesperson for Domino's told Mashable that the pizza is also protected in a waterproof pizza bag.
The trial will deliver to anywhere with an address, including any water boats moored along the river in Loose.
As part of the trial, Domino's will make a donation to the Loose Conservation Trust to help preserve the village's waterways.
"We’re really excited to be the first store in the UK tasked with providing a river service. Being in an area that is famed for its scenic waterways means the rivers are a big part of the local community so we’re glad we can extend our standard delivery methods to harness the local scenery and ensure we can delver by land or water to pizza lovers in the area," Domino’s Loose store manager, IIona Paozalyte, said in a statement emailed to Mashable.
