Pizza Hut is at it again with another fast food/tech crossover.

The UK branch of the fast food restaurant has created a cardboard pizza box that you can DJ on. The limited edition box will be distributed at select Pizza Hut restaurants in the UK and will presumably deliver pizza as well as tunes.

Created in partnership with the folks at Novalia -- they specialize in printed electronics -- the "world's first playable DJ pizza box" connects to computers or smartphones via Bluetooth. User can then use DJ apps (the company didn't specify which ones) to mix songs.

There are various, uh, paper buttons to control playback and mix music with, including ones to increase and decrease the pitch of a track. The box even lets you "spin" the LP platter tops with a gesture.

Though it's clear the DJ pizza box is a marketing stunt, it's still very clever.

In May, Pizza Hut Singapore deployed a robot clerk to greet customers and provide a personalized experience (like asking people "Would you like to have your favorite drink again?") through the company's MasterCard transaction history.

KFC has pulled similar stunts like the meal box that charges your phone and paper-thin Bluetooth keyboard trays.

Is the cardboard DJ deck good enough to replace a real one? Probably not. But can somebody please get this in DJ Khaled's hands?
