Consider this your cue to get in the queue.

A study released by airfare prediction app Hopper has found that since the Brexit vote, airfares from the US to Britain and Europe have dropped to their lowest levels in three years.

The June 23 referendum, which saw the British people vote by a narrow margin to leave the European Union, surprised many around the world. The value of the pound quickly fell to a 30-year low, and the United Kingdom was downgraded from its triple-A rating by Standard & Poor’s.

As Europeans scramble to make sense of their economy, tourists around the world have begun to see the UK as an attractive, affordable vacation spot. Hopper noted a significant increase in the number of searches for flights to Britain.

Airports in the cities if London and Edinburgh saw an increase of search demand of more than 50%.

"Typically these broad sales only last few days, and with prices to the UK and Europe lower than they've been in several years, we'd definitely recommend acting quickly" Hopper's Chief Data Scientist Patrick Surry said, speaking with Mashable. "While it's possible that airfare will remain low, it seems unlikely that the current convergence of downward price pressure from low oil prices, a strong USD, uncertainty about Brexit and a series of negative news stories about Europe will continue forever."

The appeal of British tourism might also fade as details of the Brexit negotiations become public. Hopper's study notes that the UK might be excluded from the European Open Skies Agreements, which would limit competition and drive prices back up. In addition, if the UK introduces new, stricter boarder controls, London might not be a viable transit hub for many travelers.

The moral of the story? If you've ever dreamed of visiting the UK, act now.
